Cyril Gorlla

Co-Founder & CEO

Cyril Gorlla left his research at Stanford at 23 to co-found and become CEO of CTGT, which is creating an entirely new AI stack that is 500x more efficient than deep learning, enabling enterprises to deploy trustworthy AI that adapts to their needs in real time. CTGT is backed by Google's AI fund, Gradient, General Catalyst and Y Combinator, along with luminaries like Francois Chollet (creator of Keras), Peter Wang (co-founder, Anaconda) and Paul Graham (co-founder, Y Combinator). Prior to leaving to found CTGT, he was the recipient of the Endowed Chair's Fellowship at UCSD, where his work on efficient AI training was invited for presentation at ICLR in his first year of grad school. In his undergraduate work, he collaborated with Intel on ML telemetry deployed on 8M+ CPUs. He was named one of 12 “2022 Shining Stars” at UCSD and is an Ivory Bridges Fellow and Nordson Leadership Scholar. He was advised by ACM and Amazon Fellow Mikhail Belkin.

Debugging the Black Box: Real-Time Control of AI Models in Production

As enterprise adoption of AI accelerates, the need for reliable, auditable, and adaptive systems has never been greater. In this hands-on session, Cyril Gorlla, CEO of CTGT, reveals how leading companies are gaining real-time visibility and control over their models in production — without retraining, redeployment, or going offline. You’ll learn how to detect hidden bias, censorship, or hallucinations in both open-source and proprietary models, and apply CTGT’s feature-level patches to dynamically restore accuracy and transparency. CTGT’s platform uniquely exposes a model’s internal understanding of concepts and fixes failure modes on the fly, instead of relying on separate “judge” AIs or costly re-training. Whether you’re building GenAI products or evaluating AI systems for high‑stakes use (finance, healthcare, national security), this workshop will show you how to make AI work reliably, ethically, and safely in any environment.
